Guitar Books

January 5th, 2009

Awaken a new talent. Develop what you already have. Just think how you could be playing six months from now. Make music a part of your life through guitar books, tuition, and DVDs.

Great things going for guitar -

  • just amuse yourself, or share your music with others;
  • a great way to shed the stresses and anxieties of life;
  • have fun - yourself - family - children - friends;
  • express yourself when things are going well, and when things get hard;
  • you can use guitar books and DVDs as a shortcut.

How you can improve or learn -

  • pick one of the guitar books or DVDs;
  • learn just one chord - G C or D7;
  • playing the chord as backing, invent a melody to match (not long, just about 8 bars will do (=32 beats) );
  • then invent some words. Nonsense will do. Don’t be critical, you’re only laying out the basics;
  • write out what you have created.
  • do the same with two chords, then three, etc, etc.
